Green Day catapults into audience, rocks iHeartRadio
Iconic punk trio Green Day started off their set with their 2004 hit "American Idiot" before blowing through punk classics like "Holiday" and some new ones from their upcoming trilogy albums "Uno!," "Dos!" and "Tre!" -- constantly beckoning the crowd to "put their [expletive] hands up."
In the middle of their set during "Longview," Billie Joe decidedly had the audience in the front row hold on to his mic stand while he proceeded to fearlessly hop down into the audience, where a fan grabbed the mic to sing along.
Shortly afterward, Billie Joe hopped back on stage and looked around in the audience to make the dreams of another lucky Green Day fan come true.
Well, the lucky girl got to dance on stage with Billie before capping off their amazing, nothing-short-of-pure-punk-rock set with one of the most memorable stage walk-offs that has ever happened in history.
