There is an asteroid traveling space, called 16 Psyche, that is SUPER valuable. Its average diameter is 140 miles, that's about the same distance traveling from LA to San Diego.
What makes this asteroid unique, besides its massive size, is that most of it is made up of precious metals. 95% of the asteroid's mass is made up of metals like iron and nickel, and researchers are saying, gold and platinum. And according to Bloomberg, the asteroid would be worth $700 quintillion if it ever made it down to Earth without destroying us obviously.
You wanna do the math? That means the asteroid's value could give $93 billion to EVERY SINGLE person currently on Earth.
So...how do we get this thing to Earth safely?
