Millionaires Pay Rent For Homeless Hero In Manchester Attack

ITV News reported that a homeless man named Steve was sleeping near the Manchester Arena when explosions took place rushed to help young victims. As fans fled the arena where Ariana Grande had finished her performances just seconds earlier, Steve and fellow homeless men rushed to help the wounded noting, "we had to pull nails out of children's faces."

West Ham Chairman and his son, David Sullivan saw the report and offered to pay this man's rent for six months in order to help him back on his feet. With the help of social media, they found Steve who was touched by the outreach of gratitude. After hearing about his selflessness to help strangers in need, he was offered jobs, donations, and a home!

West Ham United Football Club is a professional football club based in Stratford, East London, England.

Steve said, "I don't class myself as a Hero. The donations, there was no need to... just the kind words and the acknowledgement was good enough for me honestly. Or even if you see me in the street and took me for a coffee, that would have been even good enough for me."
